Plastic Tail Light Repair

Taillights are rear lights and prone to damages easily when reversing the car. In such damages, one has to take care of tail light repair and maintenance to avoid expenses and safety purposes. Some of the taillight repairs are easy and you can do it at your own. 

Repairing plastic taillight lens when it is broken or cracked.

     Follow the steps given :

• Get the plastic lens repair kit. It contains clear plastic film. Determine the surface pattern and contours before starting repair. Stick the film or tape to the backside of the hole or crack.

• The repair material in the kit is catalyst activated and need to be mixed it properly as per instructions in the kit. After mixing it, you can pour it in the hole or crack with the syringe provided in the kit.

• Allow the mixture to dry for at least two hours before removing tape. After drying it properly, it gives the same color as the lens and you will not find any crack or damage signs after this repair.
